Just a quick update:
We're having a couple of draws, fundraising to support the horses already coming into Sadie's Place. The first one is going to be at the Charlottetown Pony Club Show at the Crapaud Exhibition Grounds on the 14th of June--a Horse Girl hat (and who doesn't want one of those?) and a bunch of horse treats (I'm buying a bunch of tickets, because I'm not allowed in the barn with out them. When did I stop being the boss around here anyway? Oh, yeah, when we got a PONY!) Tickets are cheap: $2 each or 3 for $5. Get 'em before I get them all! Thanks to Sunnybrook Farms Pet Supply in Summerside for the donation!
Second draw is a raffle, also donated by Sunnybrook (you guys are SO good to us!) Show cooler, saddle pad and a whole bunch of other show items, just in time for the "run rabbit run" season. Total value of $250, tickets still cheap at $2 each or 3 for $5. Draw will be held at the Storybook Stables show on July 4th.
We're hoping for a Father's Day draw too, but still sorting out prizes. If you have anything "Dad approved" (i.e. food or toys, *giggle, duck*) that you would like to donate, please let us know.

Our aim is to provide unwanted or retired horses and ponies fostering, rehabilitation and in many cases, permanent adoptive homes and alternative careers as pleasure horses or companion animals.
